Description: A typical SCVWD reservoir. It gets drained very low, since there is little water in it in the first place. The area near the dam is devoid of cover, besides the flat cement of the dam. In the back end of the lake, however, there is a large amount of brush. Live trees get covered with water in the back every year. By mid summer the back end can also contain very thick weedgrowth. The fish are contaminated with mercury here, don't eat them.
Fish: Largemouth Bass: The bass fishing can be good in the spring when water fills up. The brush in the back is the best spot. In the summer the weedbeds make mats that can be fished with topwater frogs.
